Andrea is best known for presenting ITV Cymru Wales' 'Wales at Six'.  She is also a regular face on the ITV news.
Notable broadcasts include award-winning coverage of the April Jones' verdict and the Gleision mining disaster. 

Her most memorable interviewee to date is Prince Harry, who spoke to her about his charity work in an exclusive interview at Clarence House. 

Andrea first joined ITV in 2004, broadcasting to the Meridian region. Her first feature series behind-the-scenes with Chinook helicopter crews leaving for Afghanistan was nominated for an RTS award.  
She began her career in local radio at The County Sound Radio Network.


Away from news, Andrea has fronted live political debates, entertainment programmes and lifestyle shows.

Andrea is known for her warmth and authority as a presenter at high-profile corporate events. 

Andrea has hosted multiple award ceremonies and events, including Wales' Political Awards; the Business in the Community Awards and the Institute of Director Awards. 

She also provides voice-overs; presentation for corporate productions; after-dinner speaking and media training services.


Andrea writes a monthly column for Cardiff Life magazine and she writes regular features for magazines.

She is also working on a novel.


Andrea is a Patron for Kidney Wales and an Ambassador for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme.

She also supports Trust-PA - a charity raising money for research into rugby-related spinal injuries.


Andrea lives in Wales and is married to former British Lion & Wales International Lee Byrne.

In her spare time, she writes, reads and runs. She has competed in the New York marathon and several half marathons.

She has an English Literature degree from Southampton University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from Highbury College and a Politics Diploma from the Open University.
